On the same day though, at the same venue, there will be Uganda Premier League historical derby between Express FC and SC Villa.

And, the Uganda Premier League (UPL) secretariat insists that it was not informed prior by the Masaza Cup organizing committee yet the UPL fixture was already scheduled for that date.

“We did not receive an official communication before or even now,” the UPL manager Paul Kabaikaramu said when contacted by Pulse Sports about the matter.

“It is an issue that needs to be addressed straight away I understand but we shall first have to officially hear from the Masaza side.”

“From our side, everything is clear because the second-round fixture indicates that Express will host Villa on March 4th,” Kabaikaramu added.

It awaits to be seen whether the Masaza final, whose fixture has only been revealed today, will be pushed to a later date.
