He holds the distinction of being the first European to ever feature in Uganda’s top-flight soccer competition with the now-defunct SC Victoria University in 2012.

URA FC has confirmed that former player Ilic Milosh has made a triumphant return to the club after an eight-year hiatus, this time serving as Academy Youth Coach and Fitness Trainer.

Milosh, a Serbian national, has committed to a one-year contract with the Tax Collectors.

He previously graced the club as a player from 2013 to 2015, a tenure that saw him clinch the Ugandan Cup and compete in the CAF Confederation.

During his playing days at URA FC, he was trained by esteemed tacticians, Paul Nkata and Alex Isabirye.

On his return to URA FC, Milosh expressed his excitement, "I am happy to return to a club I treasure a lot.”

“I want to use my European expertise and experience to help the players keep fit as well as developing future players in the Academy."

He also extended gratitude to the club's management for recognizing his efforts and entrusting him with his new role.

He added, "I promise to give my best so that we achieve our targets as a team."

After departing URA FC, Milosh retired from active football and turned his attention to coaching.

He is now a UEFA-qualified Youth Coach and a CAF C holder, bringing with him a wealth of expertise as a fitness trainer.

Milosh's journey in football has spanned from Serbia to the Pearl of Africa.

He holds the distinction of being the first European to ever feature in Uganda’s top-flight soccer competition with the now-defunct SC Victoria University in 2012.

He played a pivotal role in helping the team earn promotion to the Super League, only five months after joining.
