URA FC head coach Sam Timbe will be hoping that the recruits boost the team's bid for a better performance in the second round of the Star Times Uganda premier league.
URA FC have confirmed the departure of creative midfielders Shafik Kagimu and Jackson Nunda among others at the club.
In a communique released by the club on Wednesday, February, 8th, both players were among five players to have left the club.
"URA FC was involved in transfer business in January to strengthen the team ahead of the Startimes Uganda Premier League second round," read part of the statement.
"The club made several signings and at the same time sold, released and loaned out some players as indicated below," the release added.
Kagimu joined the tax collectors in 2015, spending the next eight seasons with the club while Jackson Nunda joined the side in 2020.
Nunda struggled with playing time due to injuries while the Kagimu was pivotal to URA FC's near photo finish on a few occasions.
