Kabon joined URA two years ago after having spent seven years at West Nile side Onduparaka.

URA FC’s shake-up of the squad entered another phase on Friday when Living Kabon was announced as yet another player leaving the club.

The club communicated through their social media and website that the playmaker would not be extending his stay at the club after the expiry of his two-year contract.

“Living Kabon has parted ways with URA FC after 2 years of service,” the club said in a statement released Friday afternoon.

URA added: “Kabon, whose contract expires at the end of June, won’t be renewed following unsuccessful negotiations to extend it. Everyone at URA FC would like to thank Kabon for his services during his 2 years and wish him the best in his future endeavours.”

Kabon joined URA two years ago following seven years at West Nile side Onduparaka.

In the recently-concluded season, he was the club’s second-leading scorer with five goals and also chipped in with three assists.

He joins Ronald Kigongo and Salim Abdallah as players to have departed from the Tax Collector in this transfer window.

Coached by Sam Timbe, URA finished the last campaign fifth on the 15-team log, with 42 points, 11 behind champions Vipers SC.
