URA FC midfielder Laban Tibita didn't need the 90 minutes to induce KCCA FC to a FUFA Super 8 semi-final victory at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The former Busoga United skipper came off the bench in the 67th minute to net a stoppage-time winner in his side's 2-1 victory on Friday under the floodlights.
"We stayed in the game and fought for every ball on the pitch and waited for that chance to come," Tibita reacted in the aftermath.
"And when it fell for me, I knew it was the moment, and I had to take to stay calm and take it," an overjoyed Tibita added.
However, the newly signed Tax Collector did not claim all the glory, as he credited the team's work ethic on the evening.
"It was all about the teamwork today because the entire team worked hard for this win."
"We stuck to our coach's plan, and I therefore applaud them, the entire team and our fans who kept believing," he said.
In hitting the final, URA will have to fend off opposition from BUL FC to claim their first-ever FUFA Super 8 trophy.
