URA FC captain Enock Walusimbi and Wakiso Giants FC defender Bashir Asiku have been summoned by the FUFA Disciplinary Panel to answer respective misconduct cases.
FUFA has ordered Walusimbi, who only joined the Tax Collectors at the start of the season, to respond to unsportsmanlike behaviour during their game against Wakiso Giants a week back, where the latter lost 1-0 in the Uganda Premier League on October 23 at Mehta Stadium, Lugazi.
Walusimbi played violently towards Andrew Kigozi with an open boot, and while the officials missed the incident, it was captured on video, and FUFA intends to take action.
"The FUFA Disciplinary Panel (FDP) has summoned URA FC player Enoch Walusimbi to submit a written statement to clarify, contend, or dispute his actions as stated in the match report and videos of the match between Wakiso Giants FC and URA FC."

FOOTBALL Charles Mulanda: FUFA summons Busoga United player for headbutting referee
Busoga United player Charles Sunday Mulanda could have dug himself a bottomless pit after cynically headbutting referee Gerald Tumusiime in their game against Gadaffi FC on Tuesday.
"Walusimbi has to submit his statement by Thursday 26th October 2023 before 5 pm local time," the FUFA statement adds.
Meanwhile, Asiku could as well be in hot soup following violent conduct after the game with URA.
The former Vipers SC defender broke the glasses of the window in the referees' dressing room as he expressed dissatisfaction with the day's officiation.
