The racist remarks directed towards Vinicius at the Mestalla had consequences, as Valencia reportedly lost their shirt sponsor as a result of the event.
The Real Madrid winger suffered racial insults in Los Blancos' defeat to Los Che at the Mestalla last month.
The incident had a major blowback on the Spanish football institution, exposing the flaws in their efforts against racism.

The world continues to react to the incident, with FIFA naming the winger as head of a committee of footballers to tackle racism.
And now, it has surfaced that Valencia's shirt sponsor, CAZOO, reportedly took advantage of the racist abuse against Vinicius at the Mestalla to terminate their contract with the Che team.

Valencia reportedly refused, demanding full payment should CAZOO try to break the agreement. The Bat club won the legal battle, per the report, but things changed following the Vinicius issue.
