Former Uganda Cranes star forward Tony Odur is back to active football after securing a move to FUFA Big League side Jinja North United Football Club.
Odur, who is currently training with the club under new head coach Sadiq Ssempigi, is expected to put pen to paper on a one-year contract, according to Nalubaale sports.
The experienced striker last had active involvement in a short spell at Onduparaka FC in the second half of last campaign.
The 38 year-old is now keen on helping Jinja North United gain promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
Odur has previously played and excelled at some of the biggest sides in the country including Express FC (two spells), KCCA FC, Vipers SC (three stints) and the lowly Katwe United.
He has also previously played for Zambian giants Nkana FC and Danish outfit Brabrand IF between 2006-2007.
Meanwhile, Jinja North United finished 10th in the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season and will be hoping to improve on that next season under Ssempigi.
