The 31-year-old player had a rollercoaster season and has remained tight-lipped about whether he will continue donning the 'Ingwe' colors in the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Omune's uncertainty comes after a challenging season where he struggled to secure a guaranteed spot in the starting lineup.
"That one I can’t confirm anything for now. Only God knows what is at stake tomorrow and therefore nobody knows what tomorrow holds," stated Omune in an interview with Citizen Digital.
Despite his reservations about the future, Omune reflected positively on his performances when fully fit.
"If I will be playing outside Kenya, inside Kenya or AFC Leopards, I can’t assure you of anything. I think the time I am fit, people have seen what I am capable of doing on the pitch, and therefore the important thing maybe is to pray to God that I remain fully fit and injury-free next season," he added.
Omune scored a total of nine goals for the premier league heavyweights; eight in the league and one in the FKF Cup.

Omune started his career at MYSA from the U-10 to the under-16 categories before he progressed through various local teams including BIG Bebs and Kariobangi Youth.
