The Super Eagles star, freshly signed on a one-year dry loan from Napoli is set to join his Super Eagles teammates in time for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
In a strategic effort to ensure Osimhen’s availability, Galatasaray had already arranged for the 25-year-old to use a private flight to Nigeria, facilitating his prompt return to national team duties.
Osimhen shared a short snippet of himself aboard the luxury private jet on his way to joining the rest of the Super Eagles squad in Uyo.
The highest-paid Super Eagles player is set to play a crucial role in Nigeria’s fixtures against Benin Republic on September 7, before they travel to play Uganda on September 10 in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
Osimhen’s loan agreement is set with no buy option, while a reduction in his release clause to €75 million has also been negotiated, with an option to extend his contract until 2027.

This high-cost journey includes an 11-hour flight with a fuel stop, reflecting the luxurious nature of his travel.
The Falcon 2000 was notably used by Osimhen to attend the CAF Player of the Year awards in Morocco in December 2023.
While Osimhen typically travels privately for significant engagements, including visits to Nigeria for holidays or personal matters, the arrangement with Galatasaray emphasizes his vital role in both club and national team endeavours.
