The Vihiga-based outfit saw off title rivals Gaspo Women 2-1 in a dead rubber match played at Police Sacco Stadium.
Five was the magic number on Saturday when captain Marceline Wayodi lifted the giant Football Kenya Federation Women's Premier League (FKFWPL) trophy to crown Vihiga Queens as the champions at Police Sacco Stadium in South C, Nairobi.
Vihiga's sparkling run this term has seen them win 18 matches, draw one, and lose three to amass 55 points, which was enough to cart the gong, locking out chasing pack Gaspo Women and Ulinzi Starlets who had otherwise shown much appetite for the title but could not match up with their cruising speed.
