Uganda Premier League record holders SC Villa have acquired versatile midfielder Elvis Ngonde.
Ngonde, who can operate in multiple midfield roles, has joined the Jogoos on a three-year contract as a free agent from Gaddafi Football Club.
"I am happy joining the Jogoos for the next three years. I've been welcomed by everyone in the team and settled in well," he spoke to the club media.

"SC Villa is a club that bases its roots on history, and I can only perform to my best to be part of it (history). I can't wait to see myself wearing the Jogoo jersey when the season begins."
The vastly talented player started his career from Busoga junior team before earning promotion to the senior team in 2021.
He later joined Gadaffi under head coach Wasswa Bbosa for a year till the completion of the 2022/23 season.
The youngster emerged from St Mary's Boarding Secondary Kitende (SMASK) and featured for them in multiple USSA Football competitions.
Ngonde has also been through the national team ranks and has previously played for the Uganda Cubs (National Boys U17).
The Jogoos will get off their title charge in the forthcoming 2023/24 season on Friday against Kitara Football Club at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
