The team will face Kitara region select team on Friday, 17th March in Bundibudyo before heading to Egypt for the matchday three home fixture against Tanzania on Friday 24th. The reverse fixture will be played in Dar es Salaam four days later.
As earlier anticipated, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has added at least eleven more players as the preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations double-header against Tanzania gear up.
The Serbian coach had initially named 30 players for the mission but has been forced to call up more to fill in the gap for the foreign-based players ahead of the Kitara regional tour this Saturday.

New faces
Among those called up include SC Villa defender Gift Fred who was arguably the best player for the team at the Africa Nations Championship.
The others include Wakiso Giants duo Titus Ssematimba and Ronald Madoi who were also part of the CHAN campaign in Algeria earlier in January.
Youngster John Paul Dembe who scored a beautiful screamer against Central Africa at the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt has been included as well.
