Ancelotti has spoken against Vinicius' absence from the FIFPRO World 11 26-man shortlist.
Vinicius jr was a conspicuous omission from the FIFPRO World 11 shortlist, and his Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has said Vinicius' absence from the list is a mistake.
The 22-year-old winger had a remarkable year with Real Madrid, winning the Champions League and LaLiga; however, he was missing from a 26-man shortlist for the best 11 of the year, voted by the players registered to FIFPRO.

Yesterday, the Federation Internationale des Associations de Footballeurs Professionnels, FIFPRO, released a 26-man shortlist for their annual World 11.
Although Real Madrid stars from the Champions League and LaLiga double, Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema, Federico Valverde and Luka Modric made the list, Vinicius was not included, and Ancelotti during the pre-game press conference today for their LaLiga match against Elche tomorrow has deemed a Vinicius exclusion from the list as unacceptable, calling it a mistake.
Ancelotti acknowledged that he had yet to see the list; however, he believes Vinicius' absence on such a list is strange.
"I don't know the list, but if Vini is not there it is strange," Ancelotti said, per Marca.
"It is a mistake, I think. That list has not gone well."
The season Vinicius had with Real Madrid
Real Madrid conquered Europe last season, winning the Champions League, while also taking care of business at home by being the Champions of LaLiga, and Vinicius was an integral member of those successes.

Last season in LaLiga, Vinicius scored an impressive 17 goals, with 10 assists to go with it, making 27 goal involvements in 35 games.
The Brazilian winger was also as impressive in the Champions League charge to glory, scoring four goals, including the winning goal in the final against Liverpool, and assisting seven.
