Head coach Roberto Bianchi Beto knows his side is against an experienced Simba and insists they have to believe, mainly because it is still possible to revive the campaign.
After all, is said and done, Vipers SC will walk out of the Benjamin Mkapa stadium tunnel on Tuesday with a chance to revive their continental campaign against one of the biggest clubs in Simba SC.
The Venoms have their work cut out, having managed only a point in three outings in their debut CAF Champions League group stage campaign.
However, a win on Tuesday would revive the Ugandan side's campaign.
Head coach Roberto Bianchi Beto knows his side is against an experienced Simba and insists they have to believe, mainly because it is still possible to revive the campaign.
"We have one point, and mathematically we can qualify," Bianchi noted in a pre-match press briefing.
"We played well in Kampala and had more chances. However, Simba's experience, especially in set pieces, hurt us."
"In this competition (CAF Champions League), if you miss any small details, you are punished, so my prayer is that we don't lose concentration, but we also ought to create more chances," he added.
Simba SC head coach, who also happens to be Vipers' immediate former coach Roberto Oliviera is mindful of his former club and warns that they must be careful with counterattacks.
"We have prepared well before Tuesday; it's a difficult game, and we must respect our opponents because they have some good players."
"They are dangerous on the counterattacks, but I am happy that my players are confident; I am a positive man, and we are taking it game by game, but we shall win."
Msimbazi is third on the log with three points, two better than bottom-placed Vipers SC, but Raja Casablanca has registered the best start.
The Green Eagles have managed three wins out of three games, while second-placed Horoya has four points. The two face off on Tuesday in Guinea.
