Vipers’ forward Cromwell Rwothomio has attracted interest from Zambian club Kabwe Warriors, Pulse Uganda Sports has reliably learnt.

Kabwe Warriors, the most successful club in Zambia, have been monitoring the forward with the aim of bolstering their offensive having finished mid-table in the Zambia Super League.

The club is also struggling to clinch their first league title since 1987 despite their glorious history.

Rwothomio joined the Uganda Premier League winners in August, 2021 following a successful spell at Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC).

While with the tax collectors, Rwothomio bagged 14 goals in the league guiding URA FC to third with 55 points.

He was the third on the goal scoring log after Cesar Lobi Manzoki (18), and Shaban Mohammad (15).

However, at Vipers SC, the industrious forward has not enjoyed much playing time, he found the back of the net twice.

Much as he ends the season with the league title and the Stanbic Uganda cup crown.
