With 11 goals and eight assists last season, Karisa walked home with the top prize, the Uganda Premier League Player of the Season, along with three other awards in most assists, best XI, and also the coach’s Player of the Season award.
The Uganda Cranes’ international, who has one year left on his current contract, will now be expected to lead Vipers’ charge next season under the new head coach, Brazilian Leonard Martins Neiva, who replaced Alex Isabirye.
