SUPL The night advantage to the Uganda Premier League
Different time slots have been tested away from the usual 04:00 PM kick off times, with the league secretariat trying lunch time kick offs, though that was mainly to aid broadcast of more games on TV, than drive more fans into the stadium.
Meanwhile, despite the fact that KCCA tested the technology last season, less than half of their games will be played late, kicking off at 6.30 PM.
They start on matchday five when they host NEC on October 28th and then against Vipers, Bright Stars, URA, BUL, Busoga United and Villa.
NEC will host URA on December 6th in their only match to be played under the lights at Lugogo.
