Neiva's Vipers career was ended by a 3-2 defeat to league leaders BUL FC at the St Marys Stadium, Kitende on Friday, the club's first home loss in two years.
Six'time Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have confirmed moving separate ways with head coach Leonard Martins Neiva.
The Brazilian has been in charge of the team for close to six months having been appointed towards the start of the 2023/24 campaign.
"Vipers Sports Club informs it’s stakeholders and general public that it has by mutual consent ended its contractual relationship with Mr. Leonard Martins Neiva," the club said.
"The club would like to thank Neiva for his services during his stay at the Venoms family and wishes him the best in his career development."
Neiva's Vipers career was ended by a 3-2 defeat to league leaders BUL FC at the St Marys Stadium, Kitende on Friday, the club's first home loss in two years.
At the time of his departure, the Venoms were second on the log, having accumulated 24 points in 12 matches.
Still under Neiva, Vipers witnessed a failed CAF Champions League campaign as they were eliminated at the first preliminary stage by Botswana's Jwaneng Galaxy.
