Former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama was an unused substitute for the third game in a row as CF Montreal lost 2-0 to New York City FC in a Major League Soccer (MLS) match played in the Bronx on Thursday Morning.
Wanyama has not featured for the club at all in August, with his last piece of action coming in a 2-2 draw with Pumas in the Leagues Cup in July.
