Newly-promoted Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City has appointed Wasswa Bbosa as head coach for a season.
Bbosa recently parted ways with Gaddafi FC after failing to reach an agreement to renew the contract.
The experienced coach had been linked to Kitara and NEC, but the Ankole Lions have confirmed his capture for at least one season.

Coach Wasswa Bbosa has parted ways with Uganda premier league side Gaddafi FC
“We are delighted to announce the signing of 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐰𝐚 𝐁𝐛𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐚 as our Head Coach,” the club announced on Tuesday afternoon.
“He has agreed to a contract with the Ankole Lions until June 2024. Welcome to Mbarara City, 𝐁𝐛𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐚!” the release added.
Bbosa replaces Sadiq Ssempijji, who moved to FUFA Big League side Jinja North United after guiding them back to the Uganda premier League.
They return to the top flight after a season in the second division.
Bbosa has previously coached Express, SC Villa and Tooro United in the topflight.
