Charles Lwanga "Neymar" netted Villa's consolation against his former paymasters.

It's the visitors that made the brighter start, with Katenga striking cleanly in the 15th minute after getting at the end of Carlos Da Cungulo Gui's cross from the right.

KCCA added a quick second after just four minutes, with Mugume scoring from close range into the top left corner.

Two minutes after the half-hour mark, Lwanga pulled one back for Villa through a stinging header off a corner.

KCCA nearly a fourth in the 55th minute, but Mugume's freekick was unluckily denied by the woodwork.

In their pursuit for a leveller, Lwanga nearly scored for the hosts, but goalkeeper Derrick Ochan was on guard to brilliantly tame his header in the 77th minute.

The Jogoos continued probing and nearly got rewarded in the 88th minute, only for Joel Sserunjogi to clear Abas Kyeyune's goal-bound effort.

Following the result, KCCA sit tenth on the log with 13 points in 12 matches, and in their next game, they will visit UPDF FC at Bombo Military Barracks on December 28.

Two days later, Villa, who have stayed sixth with 19 points, will be guests to Wakiso Giants FC at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
