Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman has claimed he believes Atalanta can go on to win the Serie A title this season.
Lookman has started the season in fine form for Atalanta, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in the league this season.
The winger was also in action for his side in Atalanta’s narrow 2-1 victory against AC Milan in Bergamo yesterday.
Lookman scored the winning goal of the game for the Europa League winners and moved top of the Serie A table.

Speaking on Sky Italia as revealed by Football Italia, he said, “It’s a very important game against a very strong team that is doing well in the League. We performed well tonight, three big points and we continue like this.
“I think we just continue to play the way we play, match by match. We believe in ourselves as a team, so we continue like this and stay together.”

Lookman believes that if his teammates can continue in this sort of form, they will cross the finish line at the end of the season.
Atalanta are now top of the Serie A, two points above Napoli, who will face a difficult Lazio side on Sunday.
