What Sane said
The former Manchester City star believes that his team's performance in the first-leg cost them the tie, as they controlled the second.
He said that at the point when they were dominant in the game, he had a chance to put his team on the scoreboard and effectively start a comeback but missed it, claiming that was tough on him.
"Man City got a lot of pressure but it is tough because we lose the first game away 3-0, which shouldn't have happened, today we could have done a lot," he said, per the BBC.
"It is tough for me because I had a good chance. We had them under control, won lots of ball in midfield, if I had scored I would like to have known where this game went."
