Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool still have work to do to prove they are worthy of next season's Champions League.
Despite boosting their Champions League qualification hopes with back-to-back Premier League victories, Jurgen Klopp believes his Liverpool players still have a way to go.
Liverpool still have work to do
Liverpool go into Wednesday's clash at West Ham in seventh place after much-needed victories over Leeds and Nottingham Forest ended a run of four league games without a win.
Klopp’s men are now three points behind Tottenham in fifth but nine points adrift of Manchester United in fourth.
Despite the recent good form, Klopp knows there is still plenty of work to do in a season marred by inconsistency. When asked what Liverpool had shown with their last two results, Klopp replied, “Nothing.”
"We still have to prove ourselves and you can't talk about consistency when you win two games, especially when you win the second one like we did with a 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest at home.
"We have to keep ourselves going. There were a lot of things I liked in the last two, two games and that's what we have to keep going. We have to make sure people like watching us again," he asserted.”
