Xavi on Dembele's PSG move
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barca have agreed to sell Dembele for €50 million which is the release clause inserted into the new contract he signed last summer.
Speaking to TV3 via SPORT a clearly disappointed Xavi revealed that Dembele requested to leave.
The Barca boss added, "Dembele has a proposal from PSG and he wants to go there, so today he has not played for that reason."
"It is a personal decision. It is a pity, [and] it tastes bad to me because we have taken great care of him,"
Xavi went on to wish the former Borussia Dortmund winger good luck, saying: "It is the law of the market, we cannot compete with this proposal, it is beyond our reach."
