FKFPL Declan Rice reveals his preferred position at Arsenal
Rice has been played as a left sided eight in recent weeks with Jorginho playing in the six role and the former West Ham man has revealed his preferred position.
Leandro Trossard opened the scoring for the hosts just before half-time, but Josh Brownhill equalised for the Clarets ten minutes into the second-half.
William Saliba equalised from a corner kick almost immediately, and Oleksandr Zinchenko confirmed the result with a stunning strike in the 74th minute.
What Arteta said
The Spaniard raved about his side’s dominant approach and how they managed to create chances despite Burnley’s low block, a recurring theme in Arsenal’s season.
He also highlighted Arsenal’s efficiency from set plays and how it is an important tool against teams that are set up to defend, as many sides do against his team.
"Very happy with the performance. The way the team dominated the game. We fully deserved to win the game,” he said, per the BBC.
"Especially against organised teams, we're provoking; they were defending really deep. We generated a lot today and looked a threat every time.
"Momentum was perfect. The team reacted straight away, and the timing was perfect. We are the team who generate the most [set-piece goals]. If a team want to defend 20 metres, that has to be an asset.”
