FOOTBALL West Nile to miss out as FUFA Odilo Primary Schools tournament kicks off

West Nile region will be represented as the 2023 FUFA Primary Schools Odilo championship girls tournament kicks off in Njeru and runs up to Wednesday, 13th September.

A total of seven schools from the respective regions have already arrived at Njeru ahead of the kickoff later on Monday.

The schools include defending champions Bombo UMEA Primary School from Luweero, last year’s finalists Habanom Quality Academy and Prime View Education Centre from Tororo.

“The team from Moyo Boys Primary School couldn’t make it to the venue and, as a result, won’t be able to participate in this year’s edition,” FUFA revealed.

The other teams confirmed are Bwabya PS (Kabarole, Kitara), Aterai PS (Kumi, North East), Akuru Standard (Kiruhura, Western) and Otino Waa from Kole in Northern Uganda.

The boys' tournament will be played from Thursday 14th, September to Sunday 17th.
