Yusuf, who made over 100 appearances for Antwerp, will now be lining up alongside fellow Nigerian Chidozie Awaziem who also switched from Europe to Cincinnati.
And the Revolution, who play their home games just a stone's throw from the movie sets of Hollywood, have wasted no time in welcoming their exciting new recruit.
'We can't wait to see you, Alhassan!' the club posted on their social media channels, clearly thrilled to have snapped up the energetic central midfielder.
Revolution Sporting Director Curt Onalfo was equally effusive in his praise, declaring: 'We are pleased to add an impactful player with elite European experience to our roster in Alhassan Yusuf, whose arrival makes us even stronger in the central midfield position.
'Alhassan is a talented player with title-winning experience in the prime of his career. His competitive drive, excellent vision and passing, and tenacious tackling will all raise the level of our team.'
Yusuf, who is signed through the 2027 MLS season with a club option for 2028, will now be hoping to take the American top flight by storm and showcase his skills on the biggest stage.
With the world-famous Hollywood sign as his backdrop, the fleet-footed Nigerian will be aiming to become the next superstar to emerge from the MLS conveyor belt.
