Following a lengthy season of continental football, the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup will come to end with Tanzania's Young Africans and Algeria's USM Alger wrapping up the competition on Sunday, May 28 and Saturday, June 3.
The 2022/23 edition of the competition had seen over 50 teams from 39 associations enter the competition, with Nigeria being ably represented by Remo Stars, Kwara United, Plateau United and Rivers United at certain points.

CAFCC: Rivers United confirm reporting Young Africans to CAF over 'dirty tricks' in Tanzania
The Nigerian champions had alleged that their Tanzanian hosts 'sprayed toxic chemicals' inside their bus ahead of their Confederation Cup quarterfinal second leg.
However, the finale will see the duo of Young Africans: who become the first Tanzanian club to reach the Confederation Cup final, and USM Alger: who feature in their second continental final after the 2015 CAF Champions League final, clash in the two-legged encounter.
