Kenya Police chairman Nyale Munga has labeled Zamalek 'lucky' ahead of the second leg in Cairo with a group stage place in the CAF Confederation Cup on the line.
Kenya Police FC Chairman Gideon Munga Nyale has brushed off any concerns about Zamalek’s strength, confidently declaring that his side will overturn the narrow 1-0 first-leg defeat in the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round.
Speaking to the media after the loss in Nairobi, Nyale expressed belief that his team will not only defeat the Egyptian giants in the second leg but also go on to win the coveted continental trophy.
“When we beat this team on Friday in Cairo, we will be the champions of the Confederation Cup in Africa. No team will match us,” Nyale boldly stated.

Kenya Police coach reveals what went wrong in CAF Confederation Cup clash against Zamalek
The experienced gaffer has expressed frustration over missed chances as Kenya Police FC face a tough second leg in Egypt.
The Antony Kimani-coached Police FC put up a strong fight against Zamalek in the first leg at Nyayo National Stadium but fell short, losing to a solitary goal.
However, Nyale, who was present alongside Acting Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli, downplayed the result, asserting that the Egyptians were fortunate to leave Nairobi with the win.
“This was just a game of football. They were lucky to win against us, but come the second leg on Friday, we will secure a victory,” he added, clearly unbothered by the deficit.
Nyale also heaped praise on his team's second-half performance, particularly crediting the impact of late substitutions that improved their play. He hinted that those who excelled towards the end of the game would feature prominently in the return leg in Cairo.
