Arsenal's last victory over Manchester City was in the 2014/2015 season as the Gunners, in sixth place, beat second-placed City 2-0 at the Etihad.

But where are they now?

David Ospina

Colombian goalkeeper took over from Wojciech Szczesny, who made several errors between the sticks.

Ospina would prove his mark for the Gunners and bagged eight clean sheets in 18 games.

However, the arrival of Peter Cech sent him down the pecking order.

He moved on to Napoli in 2018 and is now at Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

Hector Bellerin

One of the most loved Gunners at the time, he bagged over 200 appearances winning six trophies.

He left Arsenal for Barcelona and moved on later to Sporting CP.

Per Mertesacker

Per Mertesacker is still at Arsenal. He is now the manager of the Arsenal Academy.

He will forever be cherished for his heroics in the 2017 FA Cup final against London rivals Chelsea.

Francis Coquelin

He spent full seasons with the Italian club before spending a short loan spell with Rangers.

Carzola was the magician who wove wonders with his feet. Injury-plagued his final years at Arsenal, but he bounced back to fitness while at Villareal.

He now features for Al Sadd in Qatar.

Alex has rediscovered his form at Marseille. IMAGO

On several occasions, Sanchez spent his best years at Arsenal carrying the team on his hardened back! But then, he moved to Manchester United and was instead a shadow of his former self.

However, he has rekindled the magic again at Marseille, where he has since bagged 16 goals this season.
