Liverpool in for Eagles' defender
According to a report from Daily Mail, the Reds are said to be admirers of the 23-year-old centre-back, who has impressed since joining Palace from Chelsea last year.
Guehi has quickly established himself as a key player for the South London club, making 56 appearances since his arrival. His composed displays at the heart of Palace's defense have caught the eye of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
However, Liverpool could face stiff competition from arch-rivals Manchester United for Guehi's signature. The Red Devils are also reported to be monitoring the England Under-21 international.
United's interest could intensify reported Newcastle United’s sporting director Dan Ashworth ends up taking a similar role at Old Trafford.
Ashworth was instrumental in bringing Guehi to Palace from Chelsea and remains an admirer of the talented defender.
Guehi is currently sidelined with a minor knee injury sustained in Palace's recent clash against Brighton. But he is expected to return to action soon as the Eagles seek to preserve their PL status under new manager, Oliver Glasner.
With his contract running until 2026, Palace are under no pressure to sell their prized asset. But new boss, Glaser, could struggle to hold on to one of his prized assets, with Liverpool and Man United likely to prise Guehi away from Selhurst Park if they firm up interest with formal bids.
