Tanimu found himself at the center of transfer speculation linking him to Spanish fifth division outfit Lleida Esportu. However, his former club, Bendel Insurance, swiftly dispelled the rumors, affirming that no official deal had been reached, and he spent the rest of the year with the NPFL outfit.
