Charles Bbaale scored five goals in as many matches as the SC Villa picked nine from a possible 15 as they kept their dreams of winning the StarTimes Uganda Premier League title for the first time since 2004 alive.
Charles Bbaale was arguably the best player in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League for the month of April.
The SC Villa forward is battling for the gong that is accompanied by shs.1 million with Arua Hill’s Innocent Media and Shariph Kimbowa from Wakiso Giants.
However, the list seems a mere formality considering the personal and overall team achievements that Bbaale and his Villa managed in the same month.

UPL Magera, Isabirye battle for April Gong
Alex Isabirye and Jackson Magera put a shift as their Vipers and SC Villa stepped up the fight for the StarTimes Uganda Premier League title.
He scored the only goal for Villa but was not enough as they capitulated to a 4-1 loss to fellow contenders KCCA but his lone strike was decisive in the next fixture as they edged Vipers 1-0 at Wankulukuku.
Prior to that, Bbaale had scored three against Soltilo Bright Stars and Wakiso Giants combined as he scooped two man-of-the-match awards from both games.

SUPL Bbaale hands Isabirye first league loss at Vipers
While he earned his side three valuable points, Bbaale handed Vipers' head coach Alex Isabirye his first defeat since taking over reigns at Kitende.
His rivals Kimbowa and Media boasted three goals each.
