Africa's football governing body CAF is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the continent's representatives at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup have a proper outing in the tournament.
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has trained technical analysts of the four nations set to feature in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
CAF hosted a two-day workshop to equip the analysts in an event held in Casablanca, Morocco last week.

According to a press release from CAF, the workshop was organised in line with the body’s commitment to invest in Women’s football.

NWFLCOA through its chairperson, Henrietta Ehiabor, told Pulse Sports Nigeria that the policy will help the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) grow.
It is also in line with the mandate of CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe’s dream to empower African countries and teams in global events.
Four countries, Morocco, Zambia, South Africa and Nigeria will be in New Zealand and Australia later this year to take part in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
CAF wants to see the women’s teams build on the performance of Morocco, who reached the semifinal in the men’s category last year.
“The workshop was designed to empower the teams’ analysts and technical staff with the necessary tools to harness their full potential - using data and technology,” CAF Director of Technical Development, Raul Chipenda, said.

CAF seals partnership with data firm
Meanwhile, in a related development, CAF has also partnered with a data firm to ensure that the four nations do lack any support.
