The Harambee Stars forward has explained why he became a globe trotter after leaving the Kenya Premier League before finally settling in money-minting Saudi Arabia this year.
Harambee Stars forward Masoud Juma has explained why he became a sort of unsettled globe-trotter before settling in Saudi Arabia this year to continue his career.
Juma moved to South Africa in 2018 after a good final season at Kariobangi Sharks where he scored 23 goals, before moving to Cape Town in South Africa where he played four league games, scoring one goal.
He then had spells in Libya, Algeria and Morocco, before moving to Saudi Arabia, where he has since played for two clubs.
Juma, who has scored two goals in each of his last two caps for the Harambee Stars, has given the biggest reason he has struggled to stay settled over the last six seasons, having now played for seven different clubs.

FOOTBALL Masoud Juma expresses thoughts on playing as winger for Harambee Stars
Juma, who made a name for himself as a goal-getting center forward, has been playing as a winger for Harambee Stars despite it not being his main position.
“It is just, two or three years after moving from Kenya, I struggled with injuries and it was difficult to find myself,” Juma said.
“I went to Morocco and stayed there for three years, and I was twice named the best foreign player there before moving to Morocco.
“I settled well in Morocco for three years before moving to Saudi and staying there again. The move always comes, you know. I went to Al Faisaly where I did good for six months, scoring 10 goals in 13 games before moving to Al Jabalain.
“It is what happened, I am happy there and I try to be, so, yeah.”

Juma’s club career
The former Kenyan Premier League top scorer is an experienced player, having played for Algeria's JS Kabylie, Cape Town City in the South African Premier Soccer League, and Dibba Al Furajiah of the United Arab Emirates. Before his move to Kabylie, the striker had featured for Al Nasr of Libya.
The centre-forward has also had trials with Swedish clubs AIK and Jonkopings Sodra, and this was followed by another trial stint with South African side Bidvest Wits. He has now sealed a move to another foreign club but Al Jabalain did not give details of his new contract.

STARS ABROAD: Harambee Stars forward joins Ronaldo, Benzema in dollar inspired Saudi Arabia move
Juma has sealed a permanent move to Al Jabain after a successful stint at Al Faisaly last season.
In Kenya, Juma has played for Bandari, Sony Sugar, and Sharks in the Premier League, and this is after he had featured for Shabana in the National Super League.
But it was while he was at Kariobangi Sharks that Juma managed to post an impressive goal output. In the Football Kenya Federation Cup campaign of 2017, he found the back of the net five times, including a brace against his former club, Sony Sugar, at Nyayo Stadium.
The brace helped the Eastlands club seal their first-ever appearance in a final, but they were ultimately beaten by AFC Leopards, who were under Robert Matano then.
By scoring 18 goals, Juma won the Golden Boot award, beating Umaru Kasumba, then at Sofapaka, and Ulinzi Stars' Enosh Ochieng in a tightly contested race in 2018. That season, the Sharks finished in third place.
Juma for Harambee Stars
Meanwhile, Juma made his senior Harambee Stars debut in 2017 during an African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone.
Despite the criticism that followed his senior debut, the Harambee Stars' technical bench maintained confidence in him, and he was handed his second cap in a friendly game against Mauritania two months later. To ease pressure on his shoulders, he scored in the 58th minute.
