Karim Benzema has revealed why he ditched a new contract at Real Madrid to move to the Saudi Pro League with Al-Ittihad.
Former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has completed his big-money move to Saudi side Al Ittihad and the 35-year-old opened up on the reasons behind his move.
Benzema speaks on Al-Ittihad move
"Al Ittihad is a new challenge for me. It’s a good league and there are many good players.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is already here, he is a friend who shows that Saudi Arabia is starting to get ahead and I am here to win as I did in Europe,” Benzema said.
