Junior Lokosa helped Sporting Lagos end Remo Stars' impressive regional dominance in the Southwest Derby.
Junior Lokosa was one of the stars of the show as Sporting Lagos thrashed his former club Remo Stars 4-1 in a pulsating Southwest derby in the NPFL last Sunday.
The Nigerian striker opened the floodgates with the opening goal before adding a second-half strike to his tally in a clinical display against his old employers.

Sporting Lagos star on respect for Remo
Despite his eye-catching performance, Lokosa opted against any excessive celebrations out of respect for Remo after making the switch to Sporting in the off-season.
Speaking exclusively to Pulse Sports Nigeria after the comprehensive victory, the veteran striker shed light on his muted reactions.
"I feel very happy despite it was against my former team, but this is football and I have to do my job," Lokosa explained. "So, I am happy we got the points that is the important thing."
On his decision not to celebrate scoring against the Sky Blues, the frontman added: "It's my former team, I will say that's my coach, that's my former teammates.
“There was no need for me to celebrate, I respect them so much because I have them too on my mind despite playing against them."
It was a classy gesture from Lokosa, clearly still holding his former Remo teammates in high regard despite now being on rival sides.
His comments showcase the striker's professionalism and understanding of showing restraint when going up against friends and former colleagues.
While his goal helped to fire Sporting to a massive victory and three points, Lokosa proved there's still room for humility and mutual respect even in the heat of a fiery derby atmosphere.
