Traguil was not allowed on the touchline, with his UEFA A Coaching license deemed insufficient to coach at that level by CAF.
KCCA FC head coach Sergio Traguil watched his side’s first competitive match from the stands as his interaction time was limited due to a lack of sufficient qualifications to take charge at the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round level.
The Kasasiro Boys were torn apart 3-1 by Libyan side Abu Salem at Stade Olympique De Rage-Tunis in Tunisia to start the two-legged affair on the back foot.
Traguil was not allowed on the touchline, with his UEFA A Coaching license deemed insufficient to coach at that level by CAF.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak tactician is required to have a UEFA A Pro license, which he is still pursuing, before qualifying to sit on the bench.

FOOTBALL CAF CC: KCCA FC in big trouble after defeat in Tunisia
KCCA FC have started their journey to the CAF Confederation Cup with a 3-1 defeat to Libya’s Abu Salem in Tunisia Sunday evening.
In the Portuguese's absence, KCCA turned to his assistant, Luis Manuel Correira and first team coach Jackson Magera to get through the contest.
Correira has the UEFA A Pro license.
KCCA played like rookies, mistakes at the back handing the hosts a 3-0 lead before young striker Abubakar Mayanja pulled one back late in the game to restore hope going into the return leg.
Defender Mustafa Mujuzi was given marching orders for stopping a clear goal-scoring opportunity and will miss the do-or-die affair at St. Mary’s Kitende on October 1, 2023.

FOOTBALL KCCA FC manager Sergio Traguil: Nothing special about Abu Salem
KCCA’s misery was compounded when centre back Mustafa Mujuzi was given marching orders for denying the Libyans a clear goal-scoring opportunity.
With the scoreline at 3-1, a 2-0 win would be enough to send KCCA FC back to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup, where they last featured in the 2017 campaign under Mike Mutebi.
But a shabby display at the back will suggest there is no guarantee of the team keeping out the Libyans in the return leg.
A back four featuring Bruno Adilson, Herbert Achai, Mujuzi and Emilson Gonzaga looked shaky and shipped in three goals.
And while it will be a must for the Kasasiro Boys to score goals at Kitende, it will be equally important that they stop Abu Salem from penetrating them at the back to find the back of the net.
