The world winner started life at Inter in stunning fashion after his star-studded debut against Cruz Azul last weekend.

It was the first time since May that the club had won back-to-back matches in the United States.

Why a new celebration
Messi explained his iconic celebration moments after the game and according to a report by Paddy Power, the celebration was a special dedication from Messi to Darth Vader, a fictional character from Star Wars.

'‘Unfortunately, I couldn’t summon the Force to strangle Mr Beckham in front of our fans tonight, but I still want to dedicate the attempt to you," he stated.
‘'You are an inspiration to millions across the galaxy and I hope that one day I can crush a man’s throat using the dark side of the Force as well as you can," he added.
