Travis Mutyaba says that he turned down offers from America and Asia as he hunts for a move to Europe.

Travis Mutyaba has claimed that he rejected moves to the United States of America as he waits for a move to the more lucrative European market.

The SC Villa forward has been on the rise, flapping through the national junior ranks to the Uganda Cranes.

For a player his age, any move overseas would be a dream come true but the young Jogoo feels he can only trade the blue shirt for another in Europe.

Speaking to a Greek blog, Sports DNA, the youngster claims that he turned down offers from America, Dubai and Saudi Arabia as he narrows his options.

“Of course, it is my dream to compete in Europe,” Mutyaba was quoted by the website claiming, “I had the opportunity but we (him, his father Patrick Semakula and agent) rejected offers from Dubai, America and Saudi Arabia with a lot of money.

“My ambitions are beyond money,” he adds!

The youngster makes the statement at a time when local football agent Eugene Sepuya denied reports that he represents the player and claims SC Villa owns the player.
