The Portuguese tactician who signed a two year deal with the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions revealed what and how he expects to execute his master plan at the club.

In sport, winning comes at a cost, hard work dedication and commitment and new KCCA FC coach Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil knows that.

One of which is having a winning mentality and being committed to every aspect of the club.

“I like to win with quality; my teams need to have a winning mentality, starting from everybody that works with me, even the people around me like the groundsman, the kit managers, medical staff,” Traguil said.

“They all have to be my ears and eyes; we need to have the same kind of commitment, discipline and commitment; that’s the only way we can win.”

The former Singida Fountain Gate head coach stressed: “We should expect a team that not only plays with quality.”

“But also with aggressiveness even in tough situations; it has to be a team that never gives up never, no matter the opponent.”

Traguil added: “We have to face our opponents respectfully, but let them know we’re coming to win.”

The 42-year-old, who will officially be unveiled to the media on Friday in Kampala, is expected to end KCCA FC’s four-year trophy drought and guide them to the CAF Confederation Cup group stages for the first time since 2017.

The Kasasiro boys last won the league title in the 2018/19 season under Mike Hillary Mutebi.

The StarTimes Uganda Premier League is expected to get underway in September.
