The Disciplinary Board of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced its decisions following a meeting on Thursday, May 4 related to the Confederation Cup quarter-final second leg pitting Yanga and Rivers United.
Yanga were held to a goalless draw by Rivers United of Nigeria in an ill-tempered second-leg match on April 30 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

CAF CC Rivers United lodge complaint to CAF over Yanga 'dirty tricks'
The NPFL champions have accused the Tanzanian side of 'spraying toxic chemicals' inside their bus.
CAF report stated that Yanga were fined 10,000 USD (Ksh1,366,500) over the use of lasers and fireworks during the match,
An additional $25,000 (Ksh3,416,250) sanction was also handed to Yanga after their fans attacked the Rivers United bus spraying it with poisonous chemicals, and valuables worth thousands of dollars were stolen hours before the kick-off.

A verbatim of the ruling indicated that the African football governing body is aware of such incidents to visiting teams in Dar es Salaam and reminded the club to ensure security in the semi-final return leg match against Marumo Gallants.
"Seeing that your club is qualified to the semifinals of CAF Confederation Cup CC 2022-2023 and due to the fact that similar incidents have previously been reported in Tanzania by various visiting teams, CAF Disciplinary Board is requesting you to take all the necessary arrangements and adequate security measures to ensure that CAF rules, regulations and directives are respected and to guarantee the security of visiting teams and the spirit of Fairplay," reads parts of statement.

FOOTBALL Tanzania FA announce stance of Fei Toto's Yanga contract
The Tanzanian FA has maintained that Toto is still Yanga player.
The Tanzanians are yet to express interest in appealing against the ruling despite CAF giving Yanga three days to file it to the CAF Appeal Board.
"Reasons for the appeal shall be given in writing within a further time limit of seven (7) days, commencing upon the expiry of the first-time limit of three (3) days. The deposit mentioned in Article 58 of the CDC must be paid to CAF's account.
The appeal is invalid without the relevant deposit within the relevant time limit. The decision becomes final at the expiration of the appeal deadline."
