Amongst the changes made is advising newly appointed vice-captain Filbert Obenchan to focus on playing as a centre-back rather than a right-back.

KCCA FC's new coach Sergio Tranguil will have to make some changes to his team as he looks to bring silverware back to Lugogo.

Some changes have already happened at the club, with several players shown the exit and a host of new signings coming in to start a new era.

Amongst the changes made is advising newly appointed vice-captain Filbert Obenchan to focus on playing as a centre-back rather than a right-back.

Obenchan has operated in both areas of the defence for KCCA but has spent the most time as a right back.

Traguil is said to have watched Obenchan at right-back and concluded that he would be better served competing for a place at the heart of the defence.

Under Morley Byekwaso, the centre-back positions were predominantly occupied by Musitafa Mujuzi and Geoffrey Wasswa.

But with Wasswa out of the club, Traguil will have to forge a new partnership that will help the club win games and trophies.

Peter Magambo has fully recovered from an injury that kept him out of action for most of last season and will also be fighting to nail a starting place.

KCCA will start serious business on Friday in the FUFA Super Eight Tournament against Wakiso Giants FC.

Traguil will have the opportunity to see his side in a competitive game, having only had friendlies in the preseason.
