Former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp has urged Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to make more signings before the close of the transfer window.
Jamie Redknapp has warned Arsenal that they need to bolster their squad with more signings before the end of the transfer window, as relying on Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey to stay fit could be dangerous.
Redknapp's comments came after Arsenal's 2-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa on Saturday, where Jesus was absent due to injury.

Redknapp urges Arteta to sign new players
"Arsenal need to bring more players in," Redknapp said on Sky Sports.
"I'm a big fan of, Jesus – but can he last a whole season with injuries? The same with Partey who is an important player but cant stay fit."
Redknapp specifically mentioned Spaniard Merino, who impressed at the Euros, as a suitable target.
"They are talking about getting in Merino... he's a perfect profile for the Premier League, I'm sure that is going to happen."
The Gunners have started their season brightly with two wins out of two as they seek to finally wrestle the Premier League title from Man City's grasp.
