Youngster Allan Oyirwoth off to England for further nurturing

Its believed that Oyirwoth, who debuted for the Uganda Cranes last year (2023) at just 17, will spend there 180 days of nurturing into the professional spheres of the game.

Vastly talented attacking midfielder Allan Oyirwoth has jetted to England, United Kingdom, to join the Brooke House College and Academy in Leicester.

Per journalist David Isabirye, Oyirwoth was in the company of his representatives from FestoWeb Sports management group as he waved Entebbe International Airport on Tuesday.

Its believed that Oyirwoth, who debuted for the Uganda Cranes last year (2023) at just 17, will spend there 180 days of nurturing into the professional spheres of the game.

Allan Oyirwoth's Meticulous Rise

Last year in March, as a senior four student of Amus College, the 17-year-old was named the Teso Zone MVP in a tournament where he also led the goal-scoring charts in the zonal school competitions.

Later in the National Football Championships held in Fort Portal, he was named the MVP, as St. Marys Secondary School, Kitende won the trophy.

Oyirwoth also finished as top scorer in the International Schools Football (ISF) championship held in July.

A month later, Oyirwoth finished as the East African Schools (FEASSSA ) competition top scorer.

That was before he was named the Buganda Masaza Cup 2023 MVP in October, and a Uganda Cranes summon subsequently followed.
