In search for regular playing time and with hopes of reviving his career, Wakiso Giants post one of the most suitable of destinations.

Former Vipers SC midfielder Frank 'Zaga' Tumwesigye is only moments away from sealing a move to Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants Football Club.

According to Swift Sports, the St Mary's Secondary School Kitende (SMASK) graduate is in the final stages of negotiations with Wakiso, before becoming the latest Purple Shark.

The talented attacking midfielder left Vipers for the second time in his career, at the end of last season after the expiry of his contract.

In search for regular playing time and with hopes of reviving his career, Wakiso Giants post one of the most suitable of destinations.

Zaga will add a bit of a winners' mentality to John Luyinda's team as he is a three-time Uganda Premier League champion, with the Venoms.

He also won one last season's Uganda Cup with Vipers under head coach Alex Isabirye.

In his last spell at Kitende, the 24 year-old featured 14 times in the league across one and a half seasons, with the 11 coming in the most precious campaign.

Besides Vipers, Zaga has also previously featured for Express FC and Police FC in the 2020/21 campaign.
