The former Kenyan international defender opened up candidly about the Banker's situation.
KCB head coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno has given his honest assessment of how the team has fared with three matches left to play.
The bankers beat Mathare 1-0 despite being on the back foot for a majority of the game, with custodian Bryne Omondi pulling off a particularly inspired performance in front of the watching Kenya head coach Engin Firat as he produced a string of good saves that frustrated the slum boys all afternoon.
Zico expressed regret on failing to get maximum points against a couple of sides which would have kept them in the title race.

FOOTBALL Can Jose Mourinho's Roma end Sevilla's Europa League "heritage"?
A preview of Roma vs Sevilla in the 2022/23 Europa League final.
“There are matches we should have done better, especially when we drew with Wazito in Muhoroni where we were leading and controlling the match before they equalized in the last minute which pains us as a team,” Zico said.
“Against Ulinzi Stars, we had chances to kill the game. We should have tapped into an empty net. We missed two such opportunities and again we drew.”
