Annie Kilner, wife of footballer Kyle Walker, is making a plea to his ex-mistress to keep away from the upcoming Euros, citing potential damage to England's chances of victory.
It was reported that Lauryn Goodman has made it clear that she would take her son Kairo to watch Walker play for England in Euro.
However, Annie expressed her concerns about influencer Lauryn Goodman's intentions to attend the tournament with Walker's children, labelling it a "public affair" that could spark unnecessary drama and distractions for the England team.
Annie’s warning
According to reports from the Sun, a source close to Walker's wife revealed her concern about Lauryn taking her kids to Germany.
Annie said, "Lauryn says she’ll go to Germany and, whilst that’s her right, I don’t understand why she is making it such a public affair. Presumably, she will post images of her children wearing England shirts with ‘Daddy’ on the back.
“It will inevitably create drama and the noise surrounding it will be an unwelcome distraction for the team. England have the best chance of winning a major trophy since 1966 and they don’t need this," Annie shared.
She further emphasized her husband's unwavering focus on the pitch despite off-field gossip but highlighted the impact it has on her and their children.
"Kyle is focused on what he needs to do on the pitch and that has never wavered — but the gossip of it affects me and the children," Annie said.
According to sources close to the couple, there are accusations that Lauryn is fueling the feud to boost her own profile, a claim that contrasts starkly with Annie's decision to remain silent on the matter.
In light of recent developments and Annie's recent childbirth, concerns about the impact on their children are at the forefront of her mind. "We all need some breathing space.
The spotlight feels relentless. I’m trying to draw a line under everything that has happened and do my best for my children," she expressed.
Walker himself is reportedly desperate for Lauryn to stay away from the Euros, adding to the tension surrounding the situation.
